Two women are seated in a warmly lit recording studio with wooden walls and flooring. The woman on the left is laughing, has red hair, and wears a black sleeveless top. The woman on the right has short, curly brown hair, wears glasses, and is looking towards the camera. Both are barefoot and sitting on upholstered chairs. In between them are microphones, and behind them a vintage upright piano with an open top exposing the strings and hammers. The studio has various musical instruments and equipment, including a guitar hanging on the wall and several lamps providing soft lighting.

At Quince Studios, we believe thoughtful questions inspire thoughtful responses.

The studio of meaningful moments

At Quince Studios, we believe life is made up of moments worth honouring—big and small, quiet and profound. Our Audio Portraits are an invitation to pause, reflect, and preserve the experiences that shape who we are. Guided by an expert interviewer, each conversation unfolds naturally, creating a space where memories, milestones, and personal reflections can be shared without hurry or expectation.

More than a recording, this is a way of holding onto what matters—in the voice of the person who lived it. Thoughtful, immersive, and deeply personal, an Audio Portrait is both a gift and a keepsake, meant to be treasured for years to come.

The Art of the Interview

The Method, The Magic, & The Editing

Method

Long-form, conversational yet strategic

Our questions are inspired by Professor Dan McAdams’s research, which helps unlock the key moments that define a person’s story. We’ve adapted these insights into a conversational, intuitive experience that invites reflection without pressure—leaving room to follow the story, not just our questions.

Magic

Raw, spontaneous, & authentic responses

The real magic lies in the rawness of the voice. In an open, unhurried space, honesty and emotion emerge naturally. As the conversation flows, the true essence of the story reveals itself—not through rehearsed answers, but through spontaneous reflection.

Editing

Protecting rawness while enhancing flow and grace

Once the interview is complete, our expert audio engineers and editors work to enhance the natural flow of the conversation. The process is designed to respect the integrity of the voice—capturing its authenticity while ensuring clarity and quality.

We love people just as they are

We’re here to help you memorialise what matters most—without the pressure of being perfect or rehearsed. The best stories come from thoughtful questions and genuine, in-the-moment conversations, not scripted answers. Our approach is centered on preserving the raw emotion, personality, and depth of your experience—exactly as it happens.

  • Founder & Interviewee

I have always been drawn to the power of conversation—the kind that lingers, that reveals something unexpected, that allows people to feel seen. Quince Portrait was born from a deep belief in the value of reflection and the importance of honouring life experiences, not just in grand milestones but in the quiet, meaningful moments that shape who we are.

As an interviewer, my role is not to extract stories but to create a space where people feel comfortable enough to share, in their own way and in their own time. I approach every conversation with curiosity, care, and a deep respect for the person sitting across from me. No two interviews are the same, and that’s what makes this work so meaningful.

Before Quince, I spent years exploring what makes a conversation truly meaningful—through brand strategy, hosting Essie’s Hour of Love, and training myself to be an active listener. That journey continues with every Audio Portrait. Whether I’m speaking with someone about a lifetime of experiences or a single moment of love, my goal is always the same: to honour what matters, in their own voice.

This work is personal. It’s intimate. And for those who step into this space with me, it’s a chance to pause, to reflect, and to capture something real.

  • I’m inspired by the way stories can bring people together—where every conversation becomes a window into the lives of others, filled with insight and raw truth. As a creative director and storyteller, my work has always been driven by a deep curiosity about the human experience and the connections that shape us.

This isn’t just about collecting stories; it’s about honoring them—capturing the emotion, vulnerability, and truth behind each moment.

Quince Studios is an opportunity to explore the threads that connect us all—to pause, reflect, and share in the beauty of our shared humanity. It represents the culmination of years spent refining my craft and discovering how creativity can foster deeper connections. In this new chapter, my focus is on creating a space where people feel seen and heard—a place where their stories matter and their voices are celebrated.
